Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Mark Paul Ramondt

 
Mark Paul Ramondt is an entrepreneur, angel investor and finance executive. A C-level executive at several companies, he is a prolific and highly successful businessman able to manage operations on a broad range of international endeavors. He brings over 20 years of experience in senior executive roles at large multinationals to his support of startups and the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Latin America and beyond.
 
After growing up exposed to diplomatic life across four continents, his corporate career has taken him from Santiago de Chile, London, New York and Rotterdam to Buenos Aires. In Unilever he was CFO of its North American Home Care Division, followed by the chief finance role for Unilever’s Global R&D organization. These and other roles creating value for consumers inspired a love for innovation and the processes that successfully bring them to market.
 
Since becoming a full-time entrepreneur in 2013, Mark has co-founded several projects (Chameleon Sportswear, Pactanda, Smartbe), invested in others, both directly (e.g. Simplicar, Abastia) and through funds (e.g. NXTPLabs, Cygnus), and has more recently started formally mentoring and advising startups (e.g. Daloporhecho, Amper, EcoID, WineOn) in need of expertise in business modeling, financial planning, strategy development, innovation management, organizational design and business focus and execution.
 
Mark is a founding member of ASEA (Association of Entrepreneurs of Argentina), a formal mentor for Campus Emprear and Wayra startups, and was recently appointed professor at the University of Buenos Aires teaching a postgraduate course in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
 
Coming from a diverse business background, Mark has found a guiding principle in his life to be the realization that people across cultures are more similar than we are taught to expect. He speaks fluent English, Dutch and Spanish, and upholds a conversational level of Portuguese and French.
 
Mark earned his MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and completed his undergraduate studies at Bucknell University. He supports for Children International and Greenpeace among other worthwhile causes. As an amateur but professionally trained chef, Mark is passionate about food and collects wine. He is also an avid tennis player, a world traveler and currently lives in Buenos Aires as father to two girls and husband to his Argentine wife.
