Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Nuno Rodrigues
Nuno Rodrigues is the CEO of HBD Group. Part of an emerging market investment group, HBD was created with the express purpose of developing the ecotourism developments in STP and was established in Portugal given its historical and language ties to the Host Country. Nuno heads their current project for the Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe, which includes tourism, agriculture, communications, infrastructures, social development and overall innovation on business models.
After attending the Catholic University of Portugal, Nuno trained and worked as a company and commercial lawyer for 10 years. Throughout his training and early career, Nuno always focused on law in an international context, with high focus on African development.
Nuno has been featured in many international publications and holds prestigious positions in professional associations including the Portugal Speaking Association, the Business Association of São Tomé and Príncipe, and the Portugal Real Estate Association. His passion for social development has landed him many guest-speaking opportunities across the world, including for the New Zealand Ambassador’s House and the United Nations. Nuno works closely with organizations such as Unicef and other NGO’s to initiate plastic removal projects and other sustainable development projects. He has been publicized on NBC and CNN. Nuno has also written publications about consumer protection and consumer law such as “ICLS.” He attributes his success to resilience and confidence.
Today, Nuno resides in Lisbon, Portugal, where he enjoys soccer in his spare time. Multi-lingual, he speaks English, French, and Spanish fluently.
