Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Paula Kirvesmaki
Paula Kirvesmäki has been an entrepreneur most of her working career. Having brought her vision to many different fields, she is currently the CEO of a jewelry company, Diamante Finland Oy. Established in 2002, the company was formed to build a single jewelry brand from scratch. The brand today is one of the top jewelry brands in Finland, with its own flagship store, a strong chain of retailers, and is now renowned across the country.
Earlier business ventures include a photography company that operated within maternity hospitals with the simple idea of taking photos of newborn babies. The professionally taken photos were packaged with beautiful folders that also held the vital information of the baby to be shared with relatives near and far. This novel idea, in the times before mobile phone cameras, was the main factor behind the company’s success.
Paula spent her high school years in Australia and upon returning to her native home of Finland, she has earned various degrees. Paula holds a Bachelors Degree in Marketing from International Management Education IME, a Degree in Management Training from Aalto University, and she is in the last stages of completing an Executive Master of Business Administration degree in Service Excellence from HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences. Paula is also a certified facilitator of Lego Serious Play to have an array of methods for organizational development.
Paula enjoys being involved. She is currently a member of the Jewelry Association and the Finnish Women’s Association of Entrepreneurs. Paula is also participating in Zonta International, a global organization of executives and professionals working together to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy.
She is looking forward to a future of business success as well as attaining personal growth. When time permits, Paula enjoys travel and shares the love for speed in her family as they race rally cars.
