Remko Herschel is the Founder and Co- owner of Vikariat B.V., an international CFO Consulting firm, as well as Managing Partner at CFOaaS.NL. He has a thorough knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP and also specializes in preparing (IFRS) financial statements (annual reports).
In an international context, Remko is skilled at preparing transfer pricing methods and offering support in fiscal restructuring. He offers managerial support financial management in growth phases of his client’s company with focus on risk and control management. Remko is active in both listed companies and privately held companies (DGA’s as well as PE investors), and has developed into an all-round financial advisor who merges commerce, finance and operations.
He also conducts various lectures internationally to starting entrepreneurs in developing countries, and is Chairman of the Board of a district welfare foundation that focuses on the development of a civil society. He attributes his success to excellent knowledge of the global financial market, excellent communication skills and technical skills. He is a Member of the National Association of Certified Accountants and enjoys travel and reading in his spare time. He resides in De Meern, Denmark.
