Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Sergio Maia

 
Sergio Maia is a Corporate Board Member of Trust & Co, is a leading independent consulting company with over R$ 2 billion in transactions, chartered by the Brazillian Institute for Corporate Governance. Sergio also founded and is the controlling shareholder of Trust & Co, with the vision to position the company as the reference company in the South Region of Brazil in corporate finance, regarding volume, management practices and reputation.
 
After earning a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração do Porto, Sergio received his Licenciatura in Administracao from Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique in 1985. He then went on to earn an MBA from IESE – Portugal, in their Top Executive Development Program, 2001.
 
In addition to his role at Trust & Co, Sergio is also the President at Kindr and a Board Member of Vonpar and Portobello Shop. He also works as an Independent Business Consultant for a large number of corporations in Brazil, specifically in the field of corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions.  In the past, Sergio Maia has also been a university teacher at PUC and University Portucalense, both located in Oporto, Portugal.
 
He was awarded the status of Honorific Citizen – City of Porto Alegre (Brazil), and a Farroupilha Medal of Honor – State of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil). Today, Sergio continues to reside in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, French, and English. In his spare time, Sergio can be found reading.
