Shirene Rifai is an Entrepreneurial Creative Director based in Jordan. She has extensive experience in both retail & e-commerce channels as well as in a wide range of luxury fashion and lifestyle brands in Jordan, Lebanon, GCC, USA and Europe. With an intuitive understanding of how to create, build and manage fashion and lifestyle publications, today she mentors people interested in the fashion and jewelry industries, as well as produces fashion campaigns, ads and PR.
 
Rifai’s latest filed of specialization is Brand Management and Image Consultancy both in fashion, jewelry and luxury goods.

“Brand management is the science of crafting and sustaining a brand. It differentiates its products from the competitors and gives your business a leg up on the others, allowing you to increase sales and grow your business. Branding also involves assembling a blend of the right marketing campaigns to create and reinforce your identity.”

She served for 8 years as Editor in Chief of the U brand (U Magazine Jordan & Lebanon, UArabiah & UMEN Magazines), holding the joint title of Editorial Director for the latter half of her time there. Since U’s inception at the beginning of 2007, Shirene has helped to dramatically change the fashion world in Jordan and the Middle East. Shirene Rifai received a BA in Law from the University of Jordan, and began her career in the fashion industry as the Editor in Chief and Fashion Editor of Living Well Weddings. Throughout her 10 cumulative years’ experience in the fashion industry, Rifai has developed a reputation for groundbreaking creativity and a vision for women and men who love fashion with publications that deliver glamour and strength.
 
Shirene has been published in numerous magazines, and her fearless drive has been a role model for designers, artists and the Arab community. Her belief in all things great is her priority inside and out of the magazines. Shirene credits her success to passion, knowledge and skill and hopes to continue to expand throughout the Middle East and Europe. She speaks fluent English and Arabic, and enjoys reading, playing volleyball and traveling in her spare time.
