Bristol Who’s Who Recognizes Stephen Golding
Stephen Golding has established himself in the ranks of elite professionals around the world. He is currently the Director of Transmax, a full-service Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) solutions provider that develops, deploys and supports the international award-winning ITS Platform STREAMS. With over 40 years of experience, Stephen is an expert in stakeholder, program and change management, as well as governance and policy.
In addition to helming Transmax, Stephen is also involved in numerous organizations. He is a Board Member of the Queensland Reconstruction Authority, the statutory authority that oversees and manages the $12bn NDRRA program in Queensland. He also serves as the Board Director of the North Queensland Bulk Ports Corporation Ltd, the port authority for the bulk ports at Hay Point, Mackay, Abbot Point and Weipa. In addition to these impressive qualifications, he also currently holds the role of Chairman of the Board for the Transport Certification Australia, a government-owned Ltd responsible for the management of in-vehicle telematics applications for regulation of heavy vehicle movements.
He earned a BE, MEng Sc, BEcon, Engineering, Economics from The University of Queensland over the period of 1963 – 1975. Having held roles from CEO to Major General in the Australian Army Reserve, Stephen’s diverse background have given him a unique vantage point for networking, achieving and exceeding expectations. Known for his leadership, integrity, honesty and due diligence, Stephen has remained steadfastly loyal to both his country and to the shareholders he serves. In 1998 he was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia. He is also affiliated with the Hon FIEAust, FCILT, FAIM, FITE and FAICD.
Stephen resides in Indooroopilly, Australia, where he enjoys fishing and rifle shooting in his spare time.
