Stephen Weinberg has over 27 years of progressively responsible technical, supervisory, and mentoring experience in all major aspects of process engineering including: conceptual design & process simulation, proposal preparation & cost estimation, project development, execution & detailed design and plant start-up & troubleshooting. He is currently Vice President of Process Solutions with Audubon Engineering. Audubon provides the very best in EPCM services to all sectors of the energy and processing industries. Comprised of four affiliates – Audubon Engineering Solutions, Audubon Field Solutions, Cimation and Affinity – Audubon has a reputation for resolving the industry’s most complex engineering, field and technical challenges. Specifically, Stephen is the SME for natural gas treating and processing.

Earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lowell, Stephen launched his career with ENSR as a Process Development Engineer. From there he held various senior level positions such as Principal Process Engineer with CB&I and Hanover and Senior Engineering Manager, International Processing and Treating with Exterran before joining Audubon as Director of Process Technology and working his way up the ranks. Recognized by his peers, Stephen has been honored with an Outstanding Performance Award, ENSR 1989; CB&I Chairman’s Bonus Award, 2002 and the Audubon Engineering Outstanding Service Award, 2010.

Ever enterprising, he is also responsible for the following patents being passed: Extraction Process to Remove PCBs from Soil and Sludge, United States 5,055,196 – Darian, Saeed T. and Weinberg, Stephen P. ; Solvent Extraction Process Employing Comminuting and Dispersing Surfactants, United States 5,154,831 – Darian, Saeed T. and Weinberg, Stephen P. and Solvent Extraction Process for Treatment of Oily Substrates, United States 5,286,386 – Darian, Saeed T. and Weinberg, Stephen P. He is affiliated with the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and Tau Beta Pi, the Chemical Engineers Honor Society. Stephen’s keys to success are his hard work, humility, and his ability to take risks. His five-year plan includes remaining in and using his executive position to mentor and inspire young engineers. He currently resides in Houston, Texas, USA.
