Kala Schmidt is Senior Vice President at Enertia Software. Kala has been with Enertia since 1992 when she joined as a Support Analyst, over 23 years she moved her way through the company to the position she holds now. Taking a passionate approach to her work, Kala’s exuberance is carried into every aspect of her role. She mentors new hires and manages a very smart team of Business Analysts as well as participating in the continued evolution of the company’s application to take advantage the newest and most innovative technologies. Kala loves what she does and her meaningful results are a testimony to it.

Having been in Oil and Gas (O&G) since 1985 when she first worked as an O&G Operator, Kala has a breadth of understanding about the industry that surpasses her peers. She often travels to the company’s other five offices in Dallas, Denver, Houston, South Lake and Oklahoma City. She speaks annually at various business conferences including NAPE. She is affiliated with the National Association of Professional Women, Local Midland A&M Club and the Century Club. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from Texas A&M University.
