Mr Raid Bukhamseen is an industry subject matter expert with extensive international hands-on experience in all areas of leadership and management within the oil and gas upstream sector, Raid has a remarkable history of effectively managing senior executive roles while advancing businesses position in areas of productivity, profitability and operations. Embracing core values of integrity, innovation, and growth, Raid has consistently offered a diverse perspective of approaching and resolving issues and concerns capitalising on his strong technical acumen, industry knowledge and management skills. Raid commenced his career in the international oil and gas upstream services as a Field Geophysicist with Schlumberger then moved to be Well Logging Senior Engineer with Baker Hughes. After 8 years working with international upstream service companies, Raid moved to international Exploration and Production (E&P) Companies where he attained distinguished career advancements from Chief Geologist to Exploration Manager in LUKOIL Saudi Arabia Energy then moved to Kuwait Energy as Yemen Operations Manager promoted to Vice President of Kuwait Energy managing several oil, gas and condensate producing assets in different countries. Raid also provided consultations to Oil and Gas Upstream Sector (Operations, Technical and M&A) for one year to steer his career further. Raid worked with leading organisations and delivered in challenging situations with dexterity and professionalism. Throughout his career span, Raid has executed multimillion-dollar projects, managed E&P companies in different countries some of which were start-up projects where Raid was key member in the start-up team such as LUKOIL Saudi Oil and Gas E&P company, provided consultation, handled M&As, liaised with government officials/JV partners, represented organisations in negotiating and resolving legal disputes/international arbitrations with business value exceeding US$150M. Currently, spearheading role as President of Arab Energy Alliance UA, a serious player in Ukraine Oil and Gas upstream sector, Raid has demonstrated a career record comprising numerous experiences and splendid accomplishments. He has restructured workflow and HR organisation chart, developed new policies and led growth and business optimisation efforts which has considerably increased profitability of the company operating in Ukraine with three producing assets. Active member in the technical society of petroleum specialists and has been a main author and co-author for many SPE and Non- SPE publications and presented papers at SPE and Non-SPE conferences worldwide including Aberdeen – UK, Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia, Bahrain and Dhahran – Saudi Arabia. Raid has been conferred with the prestigious award of ‘Top 10 Presenters for the Year 2010 in United Kingdom’ by IQPC for his commendable work.
