Biography :Regina(SanFanandre)Davis was born and raised in New York and now resides in Virginia Beach. She received her B.S.in El. Ed. from St. John’s and M.A. from Hofstra. Currently retired after a 37 year teaching career, she’s co-author of a children’s book, “Senor Smarty Pantaloons and the Mystery of the Missing Teachers”, the first book in a planned series about school bullying. Regina loves all animals, especially cats! The second and third books in the series were published in late May, 2013. “Lord Computesalot, Ruler of Aurora Bullyalis and His Secret Quest to End Bullying” is a colorful, clever fantasy which shows children how ridiculous and hurtful bullying is. It is presented in a different perspective by having the adults bully each other. Children love the book’s message and its unique characters, which have been represented by Regina’s co-author/illustrator, Carolyn Royer Spencer, as animals and robotic computers. Its corresponding fun activity workbook, “Lord Computesalot’s Quintessential Quest to Banish Bullies”, which can be used alone or with this book, contains reproducible pages using poetry, songs, puzzles, and games prepared to teach children about the serious topic of bullying in a creative way. All books in our series have been written to appeal to children because bullying should be “nipped in the bud” early. Guidance counselors, teachers, parents, and grandparents can use these books as a resource to help introduce a discussion with children about the topic of bullying.
