Who’s Who Recognizes Owen Brischke

Owen Brischke is the Managing Director of DTW Designs, a Registered Training Organisation #31507 based in Brisbane and approved to operate in Queensland, New South Wales and the Northern Territory. DTW Designs has been trusted by its clients for nearly 15 years, assisting industry to meet their obligations for High Risk Work Licensing for Boiler and Steam Turbine Operator, including Reciprocating Steam Engines.

DTW Designs is extensively credentialed, registered to conduct training under the ASQA and approved to conduct assessment to meet the Workplace Health and Safety requirements for High Risk Work within Queensland, New South Wales and the Northern Territory according to the Scope of Registration on the Training.gov.au web site.

Owen himself has an impressive resume, including not just DTW Designs but also service in the Royal Australian Navy. He is extensively educated in his field, holding a Bachelor of Teaching in Further Education and Training, as well as the following qualifications: Fitting and Machining Trade Certificate; Electricity Supply Industry Generation Diploma; TAE 40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; Accredited Qld and NT WHS Assessor for Boiler, Steam Turbine and Reciprocating Steam Engine; and Licences in High Risk Work including Boiler Advanced, Steam Turbine and Reciprocating Steam Engine.

Owen has years of experience in power plant operations and training, and put his talent and ability to work as a Registered Steam Certification trainer and assessor, and in power plant commissioning roles. And as a Shift Commissioning Manager, he was a key member of commissioning teams engaged by Stanwell Corporation for the Rocky Point Sugar Mill biomass-fuelled Cogeneration Power Plant Project, and the Broadwater Sugar Mill Cogeneration Power Project.

Owen didn’t stop at his regular training assignments; he has also developed commissioning and operating procedures for Goedynamics HFR Geothermal Power Project at Innamincka, South Australia.
