Wahid M. Morcos is a leading expert in engineering. He is the President, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of AMG Al Amar Consulting Group S.A. a premier consulting group dedicated to delivering benchmark multi-disciplinary services to its clients worldwide. Mr. Morcos’ expertise lies in solving obstacles, preparing and implementing plans for AMG improvements and staff skills, and business development. His leadership is what drove the firm’s diversification from structural focus to a wide variety of multi-disciplinary engineering disciplines and sectors. The company’s presence in Africa and the MENA region has been solidified by his international diversification strategy.
Mr. Morcos has over three decades of experience in Egypt and internationally, in management, planning, business development, and engineering design. Prior to co-founding AMG Al Amar Consulting Group S.A., Mr. Morcos was the President and Chief Executive Officer of ECG Engineering Consultants Group, Egypt. Some of the landmark projects directed by Mr. Morcos include Pyramids Heights Business Park at Smart Village, Renovation of Old & New Cataract Sofitel Hotels in Aswan, Egypt, Festival Living Residential Community of Cairo Festival City (CFC) in New Cairo, Egypt, Design-Build Services for Pakistan International School in 6th of October City, Egypt.
Mr. Morcos’ preparation for his engineering career began with his education. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Civil Engineering with a structural specialization from Cairo University. He also holds a degree in Consulting Engineering.
Mr. Morcos is passionate about his industry, and is a member of the Egyptian Society of Engineers, as well as the Egyptian Syndicate of Engineers. Additionally, he is a member of the Otherways Management Association Club. In his spare time, he enjoys music, sports and writing.
